My Goals

          I am a Christian, so my ultimate goal is always to try and be like Jesus. However, my goal for this blog is to show people that even when it gets hard, and things aren't so pretty, that we have the ability to make the most of it. Personally, I do not regret anything in my life, even though so many terrible things have happened. The reason for this is that I have chosen to see the good impact of every situation in my life. I have acknowledged that without all the bad stuff, I don't ever become who I am today. All I really want is to be able to help people who are going through their own struggles and may just need that extra little bit of encouragement. Remember that you are not alone, you are made wonderfully, and God is always willing to listen. 

          There are so many great mental health resources for anyone who is going through something. It does not matter how small or big it may seem, you should always reach out to someone if you are struggling to make it through your day. Make sure that you are keeping only positive people and sites on your technology, social media, in your day to day interactions, and even your work environment. Keep in mind that what you allow into your brain will affect you. Make sure you are taking time for nature, self-care, and your own personal goals outside of your normal work and life tasks.
